Healing Terrains is a cooperative of practitioners and advocates who support patients and caregivers with cancer and other chronic illness, or who desire to improve overall health with the support of people who are trained in a metabolic approach to health.
Chris Joseph (Left): Thriving with 3rd Stage Pancreatic Cancer since 2016, Chris is a Certified Metabolic Terrain Advocate and cancer care coach and also has a teaching certificate with Dr. Kelly Turner's Radical Remission Project. A dad, environmental consultant, best selling author, thought leader, public speaker, and a lover of all things outdoors, Chris has served on many non-profit boards over the last few decades. Chris’s first book was the best selling memoir “Life is a Ride: My Unconventional Journey of Cancer Recovery” (2020). He co-authored "The Epiphanies Project: Twenty Personal Revelations" and is currently finalizing his third book, “The Kitchen Sink Approach to Cancer (And Why You SHOULDN'T Always Listen to Your Doctor)”. Chris is part of the team at Terrain Navigators.
Amy Neff (Center): A board-certified Integrative Medicine physician with additional training in integrative oncology from the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health, psychiatry, and psychedelic medicine, Amy hosts retreats at her family’s Copper Beech Farm on 100 acres of land that is so glad to have you visit. With people close to her experiencing cancer (husband Eric, Stage 3 Rectal Carcinoma, mom Rachael with Stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma, and dad Jim with Stage 1 NSCLC, along with in-laws, aunts and now many patients), Amy loves expanding the toolkit that patients can work with to develop a sense of agency in the cancering experience. Like her buddies Dale and Chris, Amy has worn many hats, including founding a high-animal welfare butchery and 50-seat restaurant in Norfolk, Virginia, and now raising cattle with her husband. Amy is proud to serve as Board President of A Greener World, the premier international farm certification non-profit dedicated to regenerative practices that improve animal, environmental and human health. She also founded and continues to love working at Mindstream Integrative Medicine, a full-spectrum integrative primary care medical center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dale Weber (Right): Dale is a six-year cancer thriver, diagnosed with high-grade, stage four endometrial serous cancer—a rare and aggressive form of the disease. Drawing from her personal journey, Dale brings a holistic, integrative approach to working with clients facing their own cancer challenges. As the creator of Live Beyond Cancer, a comprehensive coaching program, Dale is certified by both Dr. Nasha Winters’ terrain-based Metabolic Approach to Cancer and Dr. Kelly Turner’s Radical Remission Project. A lifelong fitness professional, she incorporates HeartMath techniques and sound healing into her practice, complemented by her exceptional ability to connect with and support individuals and groups on their healing journeys. On her website, livebeyondcancer.com, Dale offers a free resource she has written to help others called “Your Guide to Healing and Thriving.”
